堺鍛治士 土井逸夫氏と研師山塚 光雄氏の伝統工芸士同士のコラボ商品はまさに傑作と言えます。青二鋼の両刃鍛造極限まで薄く仕上げました。切先を孤月のように丸みを持たせ使いやすく成形しました。柄は一位八角水牛を用い、専用の黒石目の塗りサヤをしつらえました。刀身に深く打刻された焔の文字は激しく燃える堺の炎から生まれた証でもあります。本体裏面の井桁に土の彫りは製品を保証する物です。
