45 layers Damascus Japanese style
Sakai Takayuki Damascus 45-Layer Steel Japanese Style was born out of a request for a knife suitable for Japanese cuisine when cooking in front of customers at a sushi restaurant or a Japanese restaurant.
Hammer marks on the beautiful Damascus pattern. It has a glossy finish that gives it a luminous sheen.
I used Swedish steel for the core material and sandwiched it again with Damascus. A Japanese/Western sword made in Japan that combines sharpness and elegance in appearance.
